Re: Custom word completion for edit controls

@ brutus_skywalker Haha I see - sorry for the confusion. :crazy: To be honest, personally, I'm not really wanting to use it a lot so I apologize for my lack of common sense when it comes to make it the more ergonomic as possible. In that respect, your suggestions are not only welcolme but also valua...

Re: Custom word completion for edit controls

Hi brutus_skywalker , I'm glad you like it. Concerning the commands, I guess you're right; as of now, one can - alternatively - use Tab / Shift+Tab to select from the list of available suggestions and, as for the Right arrow key, it is intended to send the selected item (as well as the Enter to also...

Re: Help with Changes - pwb.document.getElementsByName("newEmail")

Hi devin0316,

Try something like the following:

Code: [Select all]GeSHi © Codebox Plus

pwb.document.querySelector("input[jsname][data-initial-value].whsOnd.zHQkBf").value := "myValue"

Also check out for example this CSS Selector Reference.

Hope this helps.

Re: Custom word completion for edit controls

@ fenchai In other words, you want it to rather pre-select/auto-append the first matching item among available suggestions? However, note that the autoappend feature is hardly compatible with wilcard searches (especially when the regex symbol appears at the left of the caret position): lets&...

Re: Custom word completion for edit controls

There's no need anymore to make the GUI delimiter fit the one which seperates each item in the autocomplete list.
I updated the documentation and the first post to make the class as user-friendly as possible and also sparingly commented the source.

HI brutus_skywalker , https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/96129-ahk-l-custom-autocompletion-for-edit-control-with-drop-down-list might harbor solutions to your issues. Custom word completion for edit controls

An attempt to make a script which allows to expand stings into complete strings as typing in an AHK Edit control by picking from a dynamic pre-populated list of suggestions. When a user starts to type in the edit control, the listbox should display suggestions to fill in the field, based on both ea...

Re: ClassNN in multiple GUIs vs tooltip Topic is solved

Hi BriHecato , You can associate a variable with a control by specifying after the letter v a variable name in the control's options . GuiControlGet comes with an option that allows to retrieve this latter by means of the control's hwnd - which can be retrieved by the MouseGetPos command: i := 1 Loo...

- Updated script's own underlying classes - and the object Keypad accordingly. The script now abides by the class syntax and consists of a single script. - As of now, the word completion feature is optional. - Both the height and width of the autocomplete (edit) control can henceforth be resized. - ...

Re: Drop down list - remove title from list Topic is solved

Any advice? Here's a solution but using a ComboBox (if you don't really care, if it doesn't really matter). You can actually sets a textual cue, or tip, in a edit control: #NoEnv EM_SETCUEBANNER := "0x1501", GW_CHILD := 5 Gui Add, ComboBox, +Sort hwndID glabel +AltSubmit, printemps|été|au...

Hi omareg94 , The documentation provides an example of using the WMI service object @ ComObjGet . Apart from CommandLine propety each process object comes with a CreationDate property: #NoEnv #SingleInstance force SetWorkingDir % A_ScriptDir SendMode, Input CoordMode, ToolTip, Screen #Warn ; Windows...

Re: minimize/maximize my gui when a window is min/max Topic is solved

Hi OCP , The +Owner GUI option has the advantage of being simple to implement but will actually minimize/restore the GUI when the owner is minimized/restored, respectively. Maybe this meets your needs. Example with notepad: #NoEnv WinWait, ahk_class Notepad WinGet, ID, ID, % ahkid:="ahk_id &quo...

Re: Execute Subroutine on press and not on release

Maybe this other GUI option can help you achieve your goal (see also my edit on my previous post):

Code: [Select all]GeSHi © Codebox Plus

#NoEnv
#SingleInstance force

Gui, +AlwaysOnTop +E0x08000000 ; WS_EX_NOACTIVATE
Gui Add, Button, gtest,
Gui Show, AutoSize NoActivate
return

test() {
ToolTip % A_ThisFunc
}

Re: Execute Subroutine on press and not on release

Hi AtleastItried , In this case you should rather use the +Owner option to make the GUI owned by the window (see the example). If your aim is rather to make the button run a subroutine while it is pressed and not once pushed the solution put forward by MaxAstro is more relevant. #NoEnv ; Recommended...

Re: Getting a GUI to move with another window?

Hi AtleastItried , Here's a commented example. It registers an event hook function for an event which is sent when, in particular, the window has changed location, shape, or size: #NoEnv #SingleInstance force SetWorkingDir % A_ScriptDir SendMode, Input SetWinDelay, -1 WinWaitActive, ahk_class Notepa...
