Re: switching between sets of hotkeys

#if would work, by the way, if there is a way to end what it includes. Standard it runs everything below it, but that means that I can't use different #if blocks (for different values assigned with different hotkeys) in the same script. That is not true. You can end every #If [Expression] block wit...

Re: StringSplit not returning 0 in Array0 when it should

Hi Joe, I think this behaviour makes sense. FileNameArray0 (that is, the number of created substrings, not occurrences of the delimiter ) is only 0, when there are no produced substrings. For example, if FileNameOnly is blank (""), the result can only be blank -> 0 occurrences, 0 substring...

Glad I could help! So far, I personally never had a problem with it and it is not very common knowledge, but your problem sounded familiar. From time to time, it shows up in the forums.

Re: One handed keyboard

Welcome to the forum! Please look at the tutorial to learn the basics. It seems you are confusing hotkeys (you want these) and hotstrings (you used their syntax). Try: Appskey::Space ; Appskey alone sends Space - normal function is disabled AppsKey & j::a ; for a and A: press additional Shift to...

Re: Code Presses CTRL for no reason

Welcome to the forum!
Probably has to do with the concept of the #MenuMaskKey. Try to change it to a different one, like shown in the example: Add #MenuMaskKey vk07 anywhere in the script (it is a global setting, processed at script start) and see it, if it helps.

Re: Does this software have a version of the mobile phone? Topic is solved

That is rather a question for all the Android/iPhone developers in the world (Windows Phone is dead, afaik)... it would require a total re-write. There might be mobile phone software that does - in certain use cases - similar things like AHK. But the working mechanisms "under the hood" wil...

Re: Asymmetric Behaviour for (Appskey & Down) vs. (Appskey & Up)

I cannot replicate your problem. Your code works for me on Win10 with AHK v 1.1.28.02 (newest version). Although a regular remapping works even better for me in some programs (strictly speaking, you used a hotkey here, not a remapping) - but perhaps too good; in Firefox, for example, it seems to alw...

Re: Inconsistency with Comma (multi-statement) expressions

The docs (https://autohotkey.com/docs/Variables.htm#Operators) say: Known limitations caused by backward compatibility (these may be resolved in a future release): [...] 3) The operators +=, -=, and *= treat blank variables as zero, but only when they are alone on a line; for example, y:=1, x+=1 and...

Re: Random function?

You could directly use the old-fashioned command named Random (examples included) - or you could wrap it into an user-defined function , if you like it hip. If you are new, the tutorial and the Usage and Syntax , FAQ and Quick Reference sections of the docs could help with the general stuff. Have a ...

Re: UNTIL with no matching LOOP

You are using the { } block syntax wrong - your second and third loop s are just looping one single line each (the Pixelsearches)... the Until s are standing alone. Compare https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Until.htm, https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Loop.htm and https://autohotkey.com/docs/c...

Re: A_TickCount Befehl ausführen lassen Topic is solved

Use IniRead instead of #include to read values from an ini-file, like Guest already suggested.

Re: Similar videos search

That seems like a complex task for a computer. How would you quantify "similar"? You probably would need some complex algorithm to decide that, perhaps machine learning or similar. There might be third-party programs which can do that and that you might be able to control with AHK, but tha...

Sorry, there is no mobile phone version. Autohotkey is windows-based and depends heavily on the windows API.

Re: Beginner Script Not Working

You still didn't change all variable assignments to the right syntax (you changed one, but missed two). Try to use = only for if-comparisons (or == for case-sensitive comparisons). I don't know your exact use case. I assume it has to do with gaming - about which I know nothing (well, a little some t...
