Re: Warframe: Send Ctrl + Space Topic is solved

Good to hear it helped. Your logic is correct. Furthermore, hotkeys can interrupt each other: When one hotkey is running and another is triggered. The running one will pause until the interrupting one finishes. That is why is is possible, the space up is sent before space down. The If GetKeyState...

Re: Warframe: Send Ctrl + Space Topic is solved

I think I finally understand the problem you were experiencing. does this help?: *Space:: SendInput, {Blind}{LCtrl Down} Sleep, 50 If GetKeyState("Space", "P") SendInput, {Blind}{Space Down} return *Space Up:: SendInput, {Blind}{Space Up} SendInput, {Blind}{LCtrl Up} return

Re: Warframe: Send Ctrl + Space Topic is solved

You're posting a lot of code fragments, but the main problem with all of them is the lack of a wildcard modifier. Hotkeys are only triggered when they match the logical modifier state (for example Control ). Since you're setting in to a down state, your hotkeys will not match and no longer trigger. ...

Re: REST API basic authentication via COM WinHttp.WinHttpRequest.5.1

I think it's due to WinHttpRequest apparently only sending the credentials in response to a WWW-Authenticate header, whereas your site is sending a 400 - Bad Request response without such header. Your best bet would be to send the authentication header manually: ResponseFile:="c:\temp\Docparser...

Before the oHTTP.send(), add these:

Code: [Select all]GeSHi © Codebox Plus

oHTTP.SetAutoLogonPolicy(0) ; AutoLogonPolicy_Always=0, AutoLogonPolicy_OnlyIfBypassProxy=1, AutoLogonPolicy_Never=2
oHTTP.SetCredentials(User, Pass, 0) ;HTTPREQUEST_SETCREDENTIALS_FOR_SERVER=0, HTTPREQUEST_SETCREDENTIALS_FOR_PROXY=1

Re: conflict between 2 files that use capslock modifiers

Both processes install a keyboard hook, which (in order to make the hotkeys/SetCapslockState work properly) disrupts the native function and the hotkeys of the other process. The process which loads the hook last will the processed first, as you have noticed. You can have a script drop and reload th...

Re: How I manage multiple keyboards

If you use any #IF sentence to create a context-sensitive hotkey, then this method doesn't work. InputMsg() never executed I don't know why #If directives utilize the keyboard hook to detect and pass or block the native key event. If it's blocked, it won't produce and input messages. That's the cru...

[HTML] Graphical keyboard state

If you're working with some multi-key custom combinations (or helping someone of the forum) it's often necessary to check whether your keyboard hardware support a specific combination, due to limits of N-key rollover. It's possible to use AHK's keyhistory, but it's not the quickest or easiest. Micro...

Links go 404, welcome to the internet. I wouldn't even bother restoring links in the archived forum even if it could be done at no cost. And having a user upload feature could also be done on a subdomain of the current .com domain, then again, more developed platform are already available. It isn't ...

Re: Limit For 1 Key In Many Different Combos!? Topic is solved

When using two script, you end up with two hooks that can interfere with each other: When using a custom combination, the native up+down event of the prefix key is only sent, if no matching suffix key is pressed, which happens when you release the prefix key. That prevents a second hook using that p...

Re: Shift key getting stuck

I agree with swagfag. Without code we can only guess.

however, it's likely to due with #HotkeyModifierTimeout.
Most reliable way to fix is to add #UseHook,On to the top of your script.

Re: When I Lock & Unlock My Screen, My Hotkeys Stop Working Topic is solved

If that still doesn't help, you can add this to the bottom of your script. It will monitor when you login again and after a delay of 15 seconds unload and reload the hook. (increase the time, if needed). WM_WTSSESSION_CHANGE(wParam, lParam, Msg, hWnd){ static init:=(DllCall( "Wtsapi32.dll\WTSRe...

Re: When I Lock & Unlock My Screen, My Hotkeys Stop Working Topic is solved

Good that we've confirmed that dropping the hook is the problem. Do you experience slowness or lag of your system during the login process? Changing the hook time-out is a Windows setting in the registry. Start > regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop > LowLevelHooksTimeout I would first ...

Re: When I Lock & Unlock My Screen, My Hotkeys Stop Working Topic is solved

No problem explaining each of these options, but first you need to verify that the hook actually stops working, by checking AHK's key history. Then, it would be good to check it can get reloaded properly. Add the following hotkey to your script (normally it shouldn't rely on the hook to be triggered...

Re: When I Lock & Unlock My Screen, My Hotkeys Stop Working Topic is solved

Hotstrings work by loading a keyboard hook. Basically every keyboard event is first sent to the process owning the hook before continuing it's regular path to the active application. This way AHK can detect whether you've typed your hotstring and then send the replacement. The hook can get automatic...

Re: Allman style v. K&R style/one true brace style

I think your Wikipedia link makes a good point: Programmers who rely on counting the opening braces may have difficulty with indentation styles such as K&R, where the starting brace is not visually separated from its control statement. Programmers who rely more on indentations will gain more fro...

Re: #IfWinActive no full RegEx support? Topic is solved

#IfWinAcive supports multiple parameters, separated by a comma. Your comma is interpreted by #IfWinActive instead of the regex, so you should escape it:
#IfWinActive \(.*\d{4`,}.*\) - IMDb ahk_exe i)chrome.exe
