Re: [GUI] Grid selection GUI

the Edit controls are commented out (thus the ; ) , I used them for testing to see values instead of progress bars there is one edit field that is used, and that's to display the selection info. progresses start out as 0, "empty" to make it look unselected. (I tried adding a fancy effect, ...

Re: [GUI] Grid selection GUI

Sorry I didn't see your topic sooner :P I too made one of these a while ago. allows any anchor point and uses progress bars instead of images. various output styles. quite handy. But congrats. bet you learned a few things :) simple demo and class: https://pastebin.com/raw/pHFmB4WR (thought I release...

Re: users don't use code tags

- Could we have a page that clearly shows how to use code tags. With images. And possibly some other helpful info for new/long-time users. ... https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=29007 As said, it might make sense to create/provide a tiny set of 30s video clips/tutorials created w...

Re: users don't use code tags

forever ago, back on the ancient forums, back when I still used XP (with bblean shell) like 8 years ago, I attempted to combat this very issue by making a series of images. The issue with things like this and making tutorials... Those who need it won't find it. Those who don't need it will find it. ...

Re: Clipjump on Windows 10

32bit programs can only run 32bit apps/scripts 64bit programs can run 64 and 32bit pretty sure that's the same for OS's. if your ahk and OS is 32bit, only use 32bit. if your ahk and OS is 64bit, use either. if you're on 32bit ahk but on 64bit OS, use 32bit. unless there's a 64bit exe version to down...

Re: Bhop scripts, no-recoil etc

we were not trying to stop people from cheating (though, that'd be nice), but try to stop them from posting here, to protect ahks reputation on the official site, help avoid more false-positives by AV, look a little more professional, etc. We are not the police of the internet, only on this small si...

Re: [Competition] AHK dwitter!

those presets were not bundled with. only for testing / showing off. those used a much older simpler version aswell, pre-gui. people were impressed so I added a lot more. started to get too confusing and useless so i stopped.

Re: Icon generator v2

remember me? :) idea: for smaller sizes, don't scale everything down evenly. 16x16 is really hard to read. (random numbers as example) lets say the icon is 100, text is 50 next size down: 60/40 next size down: 40/35 next size down: 30/30 basically just some curve, a small 16x16 icon would have large...

Re: [Competition] AHK dwitter!

waetherman: how are you a master at math? I vote you as winner, winner*8. those balls are amazing. making random changes, so much fun combos. this simple one makes them start in different spots going both directions: u(r=2,i=80) { while i-->0,c=t-r*d/2,p=Mod(c/6+a(t(i)),1.5) fc(a(s(p+i))*w//9*9-r,h-...

Re: TreeList Control (Experimental)

this looks awesome :O though, any reason you didn't use gui,add,custom? https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/GuiControls.htm#Custom I'm still waiting for some genius (like you :P) to make a something with gui,custom besides the default IP control example. I have absolutely no idea where to even begi...

Re: Renaming Excel Worksheet Tabs

if you want to do proper date math, look into the envadd command (with a negative to subtract).
currently, yours will fail. jan 1 - 3 days = jan -2

envadd has built-in time math.

Re: Parental control / restricting one's own computer usage

For the record, so after registering and politely asking a legitimate question about the functioning of parental control software, I got trolled not only by a regular member, but also by a global mod, and that was it. Usually I would just delete my account, but I think the AHK software deserves tha...

Re: multiple if

why not? also, be more upfront with your needs when asking. give as much details as anyone would need, we cannot read minds. how would I know that you needed a way to use 'else'? 20 questions isn't fun. A := 0 if (A!=0) { If A is not number { ; infact, {} are not even needed if you're just doing 1 l...

Re: multiple if

if blah is/contains/in blah ... are special types of IF, thus they are on their own separate page. they cannot be used on the same line as a normal if (such as with && or ||)

just put another if above/below the one you got.

Code: [Select all]GeSHi © Codebox Plus

A := 0

if (A!=0)
If A is not number

I failed at A* aswell. it sounds easy when reading it, implementing... not so much.

I haven't really made anything the last few months. my needs are pretty much non-existent PC-wise.
