Re: ZipFile [AHK v1.1 and AHK v2.0]

Does it work with .7z files too?
If not, could it be extended?
I would like to get independent of 7za.exe

Re: Hallo erstmel...

Audio->Video Filters for FFmpeg/FFplay

Does someone have experience with FFplay or FFmpeg to show me how to make these filters work for videos? For some filters i was sucessful (just uncommend a filter): FFplay = path to ffplay.exe File = path to video file ;deshake ; filter = -vf split[b],pad=0:ih*2.01[src],[b]deshake,[src]overlay=0:H*0...

Re: AutoXYWH() - Move control automatically when GUI resized

And another version. The previous seemed to be overkill to redraw every control in Class 'Button' and storing too much unneeded data in the cInfo object. Thus, for this version you will have to specify a * in DimSize to MoveDraw the controls rather then Move , which is recommended for groupboxes. ; ...

Re: In and Contains plans...

I was able to use InStr() for If Var in , but not for If Var contains . There I had to use RegExMatch() or ~= . Your code didn't really duplicate If Var contains result either. Var = Tuesday Matchlist1 = Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday Matchlist2 = Thursday,Friday,Saturday If Var in %Matchlist1% MsgBox 1) ...

Re: Height of a wrapped Gui Text control after changing text

IMHO toolbars should be small. Thus I think you should limit the allowed text length. And as far as I understood that users request was to use short text: "cut,move,copy". Thus he should be fine with it.

Re: In and Contains plans...

IMHO instr() can be written to fulfill the same. Basically it is a haystack and needle. Thus, depending on if 'in' or 'contains' is required one or the other is the haystack. After looking up the command I'm sure For 'in'. For 'contain' I would have to test it. Var and matchlist are 'single' strings...

Re: Height of a wrapped Gui Text control after changing text

I do not know the answer that you are looking for. Maybe it doesn't exist at all. Depending on what you want to achieve with your GUI you might be able to use other 'workarounds', e.g. Disabled edit control with scrollbar Limit text length Progressbar control Text controls are usually for static inf...

Re: In and Contains plans...

Is there actually any benefit over Regexmatch, instr() or ~=?
Besides that it is easier human readable?

This seems to be too simple, but couldn't you specify r2 as an option for the control?

Re: AutoXYWH() - Move control automatically when GUI resized

This version removes some of the flickering by reducing the MoveDraw to only controls of class 'Button' (since Groupboxes are of class 'Button'). AutoXYWH(DimSize, cList*){ ; http://ahkscript.org/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1079 static cInfo := {} If !cInfo[A_Gui].ClassNN.MaxIndex() { WinGet, CH, Control...

Re: Minor Change to RegExMatch()

Thanks, I didn't know that mode1 was removed in v2. The times I used Pos was when I had to go over a haystack multiple times. Pos = 0 While Pos := RegExMatch(Haystack, Needle, Var, Pos){ } The same could work when zero is returned in case of an object when nothing gets returned and an empty string w...

Get ClassNN of control

How could I get the ClassNN of a control that I have the text or Hwnd of? I know that I could get a list of all ClassNN on a gui with WinGet, ControlList , then I could get their Hwnd and text and cross link it, but that seems to much. Is there a direct way to get the ClassNN for a control (without ...

At the same time the ~= doesn't really improve

Code: Select all

    msgbox Found numeric sequence '%m1%' at %Pos%!

I did a little research on the AHK.com board. It has roughly 500.000 posts. I went through the first page of users with highest post counts and looked at their signatures and last active dates: User #ofPosts Last active Signature ======================================================= Chris 10727 N/...
