Re: Autohotkey not working in Photoshop Topic is solved

The #SingleInstance, Force is more general and other use-cases for your script will be better reasons to use that (or "off, or not at all) But its contributing to your confusion, because its doing the job of "ExitApp" in the other example. Also the reason the braces you asked about matter The logic ...

Re: avoid 'Could not close the previous instance of this script' warnings

I usually do it like this from within the script: pDHW := A_DetectHiddenWindows DetectHiddenWindows On WinGet, List, List, ahk_exe %Exe% Loop %List% SendMessage,0x111,65405,0,, % "ahk_id " List%A_Index% DetectHiddenWindows %pDHW% or use malcev's version above, but use SendMessage,0x111,65405,0... to...

Re: Install and use LibHaru with AHK

I couldn't figure out how to compile the .dll, and decided to focus my attention on getting the existing working library to work from AutoHotkeyU32 using the ANSI dll.

Re: How to print from Autohotkey?

Nice thanks :) Here's a simple script/program I use all the time for printing an png/jpg/bmp full page quickly: ;PrintNow #NoEnv #SingleInstance, Off #NoTrayIcon Compile() File = %1% If File = ExitApp pToken := SGDIPrint_GDIPStartup() pPrinterName := SGDIPrint_GetDefaultPrinter() pBitmap := Gdip_Cr...

Re: AHK 32bit or 64bit? Topic is solved

The default version changes based on the currect installation... If you installed Unicode 64-bit, AuthoHotkey.exe will be a copy of AutoHotkeyU64.exe Most scripts won't matter, but if you're getting started, avoid ANSI unless you need it for backwards compatibility, use 64-bit if you're on windows 6...

Re: How to print from Autohotkey?

Good idea using rtf/wordpad, I hadn't thought of that

I like the elegance of printing directly using GDI(+) with SGDIPrint(), i will post a simple script that shows how simple it can be in case you want to play with it

Re: How to print from Autohotkey?

Two alternatives to a HTML/CSS solution that I've used would be: 1) generate a PDF using the libHaru dll, but you are dependent on the end user's pdf reader to print: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/40659-wrapper-for-libharu-creates-pdfs-stdlib-r1-2009-05-11/page-2 2) print directly from ahk usin...

This type of call TestFunc(12,,14) will work if you have the second and all after parameters as optional, like:

TestFunc(a, b="", c="")

Re: Install and use LibHaru with AHK

I did get past the zlib errors by duplicating files, now i'm stuck on similar libpng errors... Not sure how to install these into the bcc stdlib Ideally i'd like to compile a v2.3.0 DLL with libpng and zlib libraries already linked in, without dependency on mscvrt10.dll, and compile both 32-bit and ...

Re: Install and use LibHaru with AHK

I'm not able to figure out compiling the dll... Tried Borland compiler and don't know how to get it to find the zlib source (zlib.h file not found)... Tried VS Community and I don't even know what packages to start installing. One of the reasons I love working with AHK I guess, none of this nonsense...

Re: EitherMouse 0.75 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

Thanks... if its working when ran as administrator, you could try toggling on the "run as administrator" option in the advanced menu to force this, but depending on your setup it might ask for credentials. You shouldn't need to be running as administrator, but there are restrictions on an un-elevate...

Re: Install and use LibHaru with AHK

Thanks for the links... I've read up on it but haven't gone through all the steps yet, I may end up making a separate thread but asking for C-compiling help might not be appropriate here. I still might try to convert the library to force ansi calls to the existing (v2.1.0) dll, since that version is...

Yes that would work, thanks, and I already have functioning solution doing something similar, but I want to fix the library and/or update the dll so that a solution can be realized without using the ansi ahk executable. For everyone it would be better, and for my own use case, its a utility on a doz...

Re: Install and use LibHaru with AHK

Ok if i understand correctly, there are two possible solutions to getting the HPDF library to work with AutoHotkey Unicode32: 1) Compile libhpdf.dll v2.3.0 to get native unicode support, and use UseUTFEncoding() etc to support it 2) continue to use v2.1.0 that is known to work with Ansi32, and modif...
