I can no longer be your 64bit tester, TLM. Decided to use unicode 32bit, I have no reason to be 64bit other than my PC is 64bit. But that has only caused trouble so I decided to go 32 on this new version.

Re: Are functions preferred over subroutines?
I tend to use sub routines slightly more than functions (maybe like 60/40). But functions are definitely very useful. Here's my thought on the whole "spaghetti code" thing (though, my argument is about goto/gosub. but it still applies) http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/52871-%C2%AB-whats-on-your...

no volume control super loud.
I find that common on many audio-based sites. They lack good volume control (or don't have any at all).
Yay video sites!

Re: « What's on your mind? » Topic is solved
I still have my CRT in my closet :) We also have a couple CRT tv's in use. Only the tv in my room is LED. colors on the edge of my LED screens change slightly, depending if I'm sitting up straight, or slightly to the side. Not talking MASSIVE changes, but slight. And if you work with colors, when so...

cyruz, I'm not the only one but it's a minority opinion:
CRT's are superior
Hopefully you'll enjoy your LED!
(I have an LED TV and LED monitor, I much prefer the color & viewing angle & adjustable resolution & 4:3 ratio of a CRT)

Re: How to launch ahk in Everedit
Hello, fellow EverEdit user!
I use it too, quite a nice editor (that costs $$)
Though, your process can be simplified to make it run (almost) any type of file:
(handy for HTML or other file types)

My mind? When talkshow hosts do good deeds like giving a poor person with no car a car (or even a house), do they (talk show people) pay for insurance/bills too? If you're too poor for a car and all of a sudden you get a brand new one, now you have like $200-$800/month in extra bills. So you got a c...

Re: [How To] Scroll listbox, listview and edit controls
I have absolutely no idea.
Though, Java GUI's are known to be extremely stubborn and hard to get working with AHK, due to the non-standard controls (thus, they don't really listen to standard events Windows has setup)

Re: [Solved] ActiveX has different hwnds?
fancy. It seems to be affected by the default text. or maybe "about:blank" is just an invalid option and ahk doesn't throw any errors?

Re: ActiveX has different hwnds?
Thanks.
I decided to go with the really ugly method of
guiControlGet, pos, pos, WB
mouseGetPos, x, y
Since it's in onmessage, it should only work when the GUI is active, and since it's on mouse-up detection, it shouldn't be spammed 325872x a second.

[Solved] ActiveX has different hwnds?
with the Edit control, 1,2,3 and 4 are all the same. with an ActiveX control, 1,4 are the same and 2,3 are the same. They should all be the same, yes? But they are not. I'm trying to detect if I've clicked inside and ActiveX control but it seems its HWND variable is different then the one from onMes...

For those who don't want to watch South Park, here's an explanation of the episode:tidbit wrote:Last nights South Park episode was actually educational, and I hope it spreads awareness to those who watched it and didn't realise it before

You'd be surprised, actually. South Park is actually quite smart. Some colleges have courses you can take to watch and study the episodes. The show, for the most part, is like a documentation of history. Current events of the time. Politics, history, internet trends, memes, gender, religion, etc. Di...
