[Solved] problem with CColor() only in Unicode builds?

Hey all, I've been using CColor() (see below) to color controls for years, back with basic and in at least one other script in _L but it was with the ansi build... Now i'm trying to use it in the Unicode build (32-bit or 64-bit) and I get weird effects: CColorUnicodeProblem.png As you can see, when ...

The installer should be updated as well, version 0.61

Thanks for the feedback

Edit: confirmed, there is something wrong with the icon changing now... anything else noticed?

Re: EitherMouse 0.59 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

If i understand correctly, what you're hoping for won't work, as far as the remote computer is concerned, the mouse never changes (because the "mouse" to it is really just a piece of software (remote desktop) emulating a mouse and it commands (based on your local hardware). There is no mechanism i k...

DoubleClick Edit control to highlight contents INCLUDING negative/minus sign?

Hey all, Surprisingly I couldnt find any info online (not even gripes) but maybe as a cnc programmer i notice it more than most, but From XP to 7 there is a difference in the way text is highlighted in an edit box by double clicking, similar to how file renaming now only selects the name without ext...

Re: ComObjectActive for Excel

Thanks, i achieved something similar (but probably not as good) with WinActivate, ahk_class Progman ahk_exe explorer.exe then reactivating excel (for the users benefit)... Then to make the "flash" of activating windows less annoying, i added a check for empty cell value returned, and if so do the ac...

Re: ComObjectActive for Excel

I'm going to wager a guess that the real reason your script fails on the first attempt with a hotkey is because you're attempting to run it on Excel before Excel has been registered in the running object table (ROT). Try this with the hotkey ready: Open the Excel file you wish to work with. Once Ex...

Re: Display ripple effect when mouse click

cool effect... i think you need "coordmode, mouse, screen" or something because it only positions correctly on a full screen window... on a smaller window it "ripples" in the position from the screen top left corner relative to the windows top left corner if that makes sense... that could also be th...

Unfortunately we lost some posts in this thread from LinearSpoon, Lexikos, HotkeyIt explaining the structure build up and padding and stuff I can't speak to personally, but here are the two versions cleaned up with their help: NotifyIconGetRect(Left, Top, Right, Bottom) SplitPath, A_AhkPath, , ,, A_...

Re: EitherMouse 0.59 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

That Mouse3 in your last diagnostic or Mouse2 in the first one is troublesome... It has no hardware id and an oddly low "device handle"... I don't really know how to approach this, but if you want to keep trying stuff, you can clear all settings, only use one mouse for a bit (move, click all buttons...

Programmatically add cursor resource to Exe/Dll with UpdateResource api?

Taking the function ReplaceIcon() (or ReplaceAhkIcon(), care of fincs and Pulover) I'm trying to create a comparable ReplaceCursor() to use UpdateResource API to add cursors to exe (or dll) Any help greatly appreciated: ReplaceCursor(re, CurFile, cursorID) { f := FileOpen(CurFile, "r") if !IsObject(...

You should be able to press Ctrl-C on the (any) msgbox to copy the contents... Weird though, you have mouse1 and mouse3 detected as the same hardware, but mouse2 has no hardware detection info... Try disabling x-mouse and any other utilities, clear all settings in EitherMouse, and reassign the mice ...

Re: Help calling Shell_NotifyIconGetRect(), build NOTIFYICONIDENTIFIER structure

Thanks LinearSpoon, 1. Yeah I'm testing in 32-bit... once I got it working I figured I'd try to make the changes to support 64-bit, but as you can tell I'm an amateur so just trying to get it working is first priority 2. is see, I was assuming guidItem was a pointer to the structure, which made my s...
