Re: Google is blocking autohotkey.com
A certificate error like this - no certificate being provided would certainly result in an error being shown.

Re: Google is blocking autohotkey.com
So I asked on a Discord server about this.
There is no certificate on www.autohotkey.com
All links on www.autohotkey.com need to be changed to autohotkey.com and the server needs to redirect to autohotkey.com.

Re: The site ahead contains harmful programs
"with intimate knowledge of Google's algorithm"
I think winning this lawsuit is a few magnitudes more likely then getting someone like that.
Someone with good connections to google might be a valid idea though.

No this time we need to file a lawsuit.
We've had enough of this.

this.base could be a ComObj or a string or something similar - handling that case might make sense.

The old forums were a big mess - pretty sure that got fixed by now.

The 3.4% figure is just the number of confirmed cases vs. confirmed deaths. Its also outdated - doing the same calculation now would yield a mortality rate of 4.17%.
While the 0.1 just maybe mixing the values up with the seasonal flu mortality.

The high lethality simply stems from the effect that only a minor portion of the infected populace is actually tested positively for the virus. (The actual lethality is assumed to be around 0.1%)

Re: Why Was "<>" Removed?
The use of %% variables is heavily removed in v2. AutoHotkey tries to go away from those poor syntax choices as much as possible.

Re: Why Was "<>" Removed?
Yes newbies are commonly confused by = assignment vs = comparison and := assignment - thats why v2 removes the = assignment. While I agree that people can get stuck in random places I do disagree that there is no merit to the argument entirely. Reducing the amount of possible alternatives can greatl...

Re: Why Was "<>" Removed?
We have = and == and the equivalent != and !==. <> neither looks like != nor like !==. There is no intuituve way to decide which one it stands for. In addition <> added no new functionality to the language (unlike the NOT, AND, OR operators that have a different precedence than their counterparts). ...

Re: Hangs because of a missing comma!
This is clearly an undetected error.
Going by AHK v1 standards this should set the errorlevel when a parameter bigger than the screen size is passed along.
Saying otherwise is unhealthy for the language.

Re: Bug? FileExist with "con." false positive, e.g. FileExist("C:\con.") Topic is solved
guest3456 I dont think every AHK user has the ability to use github - if we do move to github we will block the majority of users from commenting. If we do want to comment on every help page an overhaul of the docs might be necessary. The comments could also be used as an additional resource when th...

Re: Document that FileExist() can give false positives for reserved file names
This is a windows quirk and we usually dont describe those - because it can change.
However in this case we could make a little remark documenting the behavior.

We cant really use the forums to that granularity.
Its simply not made for that.
If we want to dicuss each page it might make way more sense to further develop the documentation software and allowing people to make comments on it.
