Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

Thanks, Unfortunately that ability doesn't really fall into the feature set of EitherMouse, nor do i know how to do that so it would take some research. If that feature was created as an independant script, and you only wanted it to apply to a particular mouse/touch pad EitherMouse could help, but i...

Re: Use a command prompt for information output?

I agree and use the second option whenever possible. But, the downside is if you use the app both from the command prompt and not, then you get the ugly command prompt pop up when you don't want it... So there is no all-case perfect solution as far as i know

Re: Use a command prompt for information output?

Yes its possible and pretty easy... there are two methods: 1) use AttachConsole to, well, attach to the console window that launched it 2) compile the script (or at least make a dedicated copy of ahk.exe) and set the exe subsystem to be a console application you would then do a fileappend to stdout ...

what are you trying to do?
it works independent of AutoHotkey (besides the plugin system but most people have no use for that)

Re: Rename Process Name of uncompiled scripts

There is no hardcoded paths in the script, and the error is not related to non existing paths, it is an error due to having spaces in paramaters passed in the Run command. As described in post #3 above. It doesn't really have anything to do with hard-coded paths, its the difference between Run, %AH...

Stdlib functionality in compiled scripts

I wish that stdlib functionality was included in compiled scripts with a new stdlib location being RCData\<Lib> or even RCData\<stdlibFunc1.ahk> and RCData\stdlibFunc2.ahk (as well as possibly the existing stdlib file locations) just a thought - gwarble Edit: the new resource location might as well ...

Re: Rename Process Name of uncompiled scripts

Tip: whenever you see "c:\Program" you can be pretty sure your error is related to quotes, because "c:\Program" rarely exists but "c:\Program Files" often does Suggestion: instead of FileMove'ing (renaming) autohotkey.exe i'd recommend filecopy'ing it, running it, then ...

Re: AutoComplete() (using iAutoComplete2) crashes script/ahk sometimes

Not that I've seen... unfortunately while its a nice end result, its kind of a black box as far as fine-tuning what you want (unfortunately i don't think there is any way to do custom ignored-prefixes, nor a way to return results mid-string (ie have "234" bring up item "12345") etc

Re: [solved] Sent messages still in Outbox

Bumping an old thread to second this suggestion, i also had to google why my sent messages were stuck in the outbox All in "Sent" (except drafts) with a flag for received or not (icon, color, text, ?) would be more self explanatory "Outbox" already has a real world counterpart, a...

Re: AutoHotkey.dll StdLib Compiled Topic is solved

if you want to know the reason why its not working i believe its because the script will look in these three locations for a function not defined, but you dont have your stdlib in any of them: %A_ScriptDir%\Lib\ ; Local library - requires v1.0.90+. %A_MyDocuments%\AutoHotkey\Lib\ ; User library. pat...

Re: AutoHotkey.dll StdLib Compiled Topic is solved

Note: the links to _MemoryLibrary lead to autohotkey.net (Unwanted software/Malware reported site). Link works fine for me, sounds like a false positive from your antivirus software, anti-malware software, internet browser, firewall, or ISP Using my example from above, literally any script that con...

Re: AutoHotkey.dll StdLib Compiled Topic is solved

yup you can load the same dll for multiple threads... I also use _L with the dll in this way sometimes use: 0?FileInstall,AutoHotkey.dll,- Resource_Read(dlldata,"AutoHotkey.dll") MemLib1:=new _MemoryLibrary(&dlldata) MemLib2:=new _MemoryLibrary(&dlldata) with: Resource_Read(ByRef V...

Re: AutoHotkey.dll StdLib Compiled Topic is solved

Unrelated to your actual question, but it might drive your solution... are you planning to distribute it to other workstations? I'd highly recommend using _MemoryLibrary() from HotKeyIt instead of LoadLibrary to use the dll from resource, then you never have to extract to a_temp to begin with (thoug...

I'm just going to add as much info as I can in the hopes someone knows what I'm doing wrong... I'll also edit out a couple bits of misinformation above (re: differing struct sizes between ico and cur) So far, I'm keeping it integer based for simplicity, once working it should be trivial to change to...

Re: [Lib] SplitButton()

cool, nice work... hButton_ was in there to save the hWnd from the initialization call into a static variable, so when the OnMessage call comes around the control's hWnd could be compared to the one initialized... since you are saving into a global class object its not really necessary, and my plan ...

Re: [Lib] SplitButton()

Cool, yeah it might work well for your program, although its really more intended for the primary function acting like a button which might not apply but it wouldn't really hurt anything Just an FYI, this isn't really "my system", its a new button style in windows vista+ (common controls 6...

Re: [Lib] SplitButton()

Seemingly, this button can be realized as a Custom control rather simply, though you might need to specify the height in most cases. The most important advantage is, that you don't have to monitor WM_NOTIFY messages. Oh really? I haven't played around with Gui, Add, Custom... controls before. Not h...
