Re: Discord

RUNIE when discord was new, and I'd assume even now (not sure) you could join any server without even being registered to discord, similar to IRC, can just connect, use any non-taken name, join any room (that doesn't force "registered only") I probably went a month without registering 'tidbit' just...

"If I have a user name it would be Hellbent."

Sounds like he was trying to join as an unregistered/guest discord user. Do we block/ban non-registered users, @RUNIE

Re: Discord

ah, that was a weekend. weekends are indeed slow. And probably depends on your timezone, it's more active during USA hours. We used to have 4x the users, but then discord stole most of them, then freenode (where we used to be) went suicidal and we lost another 50% (the ones who were /never/ active. ...

Re: Dark theme / Windows themed AHK

themed windows are not really a thing in ahk, ahk uses the provided Windows controls. the fancy new ones you see are not the old "standard" controls, they're a new set. Usually found in Windows Store apps. Possibly a .net thing? Apart from checking the OS to see if you're dark/light and then colorin...

Re: Discussions about Autohotkey Livechat / Autohotkey IRC

idk about security. I use the plain/simple method of joining. but Libera doesn't need an account to join, afaik. can simply join/make a room. Some rooms DO require registered-only users though. try using the webIRC link found here https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=59 basic setup ...

Re: A buttons underlying information

you should probably give a lot more info in the first post. As it is, I have no idea what this is. what button? where? game? browser? standard window? All I see is a few hard-coded very specific coordinates to move the mouse to click, and nothing else? wouldn't it be easier for any user to manually ...

Re: Script to save the present file

1) wrong section. Moving. Scripting is not for requests but stuff you have already made. 2) there would be no universal way to do this. All programs handle saving differently. unless the full filepath is in the titlebar, there would be no way for ahk to know what file you have open in what program. ...

Re: One small add banner to support community

this has been suggested in the past. Personally I wouldn't care, especially if it's out of the way, like the right-edge or bottom, or a specific sub-forum or main webpage only.
