Re: [Lib] SplitButton()

No XP doesn't support that button style... you'd have to replicate the functionality yourself (if you google it you will see others' implementations in other languages)

Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

If you want all the mice to be able to be used independently and simultaneously, then no its not really possible with EitherMouse... If you want each mouse to have its own cursor, but not be used simultaneously, yes it will work For the former to work properly, everything needs to be handled interna...

Re: Screenshotting DLL Call failing on one computer

It looks like gdi+ called directly, not with gdip ahk library, but the problem may be the same, check your bit-ness/unicodeness on each machine (or test by dragging directly to the 32bit and 64bit ahk version exes... ) to make the code universal enough to work on each, you probably have to adjust th...

Re: The Curse of the Changing Controls Topic is solved

Its possible that the controls aren't changing classNN but rather the original Tedit15 may have been hidden or deleted and Tedit17 made visible or created (technically a different control that looks the same and has the same position, but is coded differently in the background) Maybe try to gather t...

Cool idea... in case you want to remove the recycle bin from the desktop when using this instead it can be done from gpedit.msc > administrative... > control panel > desktop > "remove recycle bin from desktop" > enabled How to do that programmatically i don't know but it would be a cool fe...

Re: Random "Can't load icon" error using HICON:

Thanks, that helps a little I guess knowing it can happen even without HICON:*

Glad its useful for you, in many cases you'd be better off doing the CreateBitmapFromFile(A_ScriptFullPath... only once, then creating bitmaps from that bitmap to edit, so you only read from disk once.

Random "Can't load icon" error using HICON:

Anyone know what would cause a random "Can't load icon" error when using the HICON:* method of assigning a tray icon? Error message (.png attachments don't seem to be working): EitherMouse.exe --------------------------- Error: Can't load icon. Specifically: HICON:*603392579 Line# ---> 120...

Re: Change AHK Menu window style (MNS_...)

I didn't realize it but apparently i must have edited in (erroneously apparently, at the time i might have even thought that i really wanted that string to be passed and not an integer) a default parameter sometime in the past nine years, actually most likely between 1.0.48 when i started using ahk ...

Re: Change AHK Menu window style (MNS_...)

Ah thanks for the info... I think i'll try to overlay a check onto the icon with gdip instead, don't want to fight dependencies on themes

I think that at the time you wrote MI() function definitions were still required to use quotes and "=" for default parameter values

Change AHK Menu window style (MNS_...)

Hey all, Anyone have any tricks to set the AHK menu's window style? My goal is to remove MNS_CHECKORBMP to display both an icon and a checkbox. This does not work: MI_SetMenuStyle(MenuNameOrHandle, 0x0) but this does to remove the space for icon/check altogether MI_SetMenuStyle(MenuNameO...

Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

Yeah i used to do something similar, but i hate to say it, its not worth the time (and not all the companies respond/react)

Personally, if virustotal shows like 2 out of 65 or whatever, its fair to assume the two are wrong and not the 63

Re: EitherMouse 0.64 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

Thanks, Unfortunately that ability doesn't really fall into the feature set of EitherMouse, nor do i know how to do that so it would take some research. If that feature was created as an independant script, and you only wanted it to apply to a particular mouse/touch pad EitherMouse could help, but i...

Re: Use a command prompt for information output?

I agree and use the second option whenever possible. But, the downside is if you use the app both from the command prompt and not, then you get the ugly command prompt pop up when you don't want it... So there is no all-case perfect solution as far as i know

Re: Use a command prompt for information output?

Yes its possible and pretty easy... there are two methods: 1) use AttachConsole to, well, attach to the console window that launched it 2) compile the script (or at least make a dedicated copy of ahk.exe) and set the exe subsystem to be a console application you would then do a fileappend to stdout ...
