'Do you do a bingo night?': the New Zealand chatbots designed to scam the scammers
Re: 'Do you do a bingo night?': the New Zealand chatbots designed to scam the scammers
I remember reading somewhere that the average ammount of those obviously fake e-mails a scammer has to send in order to get someone actually hooked is somewhere in the hundreds of thousands to millions. I can only imagine their happy faces when they get an answer from these bots thinking they actually hooked in a big one. Only to be absolutely upset in their evil plans tens of e-mails later of course
Priceless.
Priceless.

Its quite possible that the scammers are just bots themselves - meaning we have 2 bots talking to each other.

Well done to all involved in this I think it would be an idea to send a few scams into them. Wasting a scammers time and resources is great.
