Wow... now that I think of it, that is kind of amazing. If those scientists couldn't figure it out, who am I to postulate. However, I think it has to do with the ridges erected around the crater, creating a ring shaped gravitational density, resulting a sky-sinkhole of sorts. Once the meteor gets caught, it can only spiral down towards the crater.
Fits with their experiment where they only dug a hole.

Thoughts?

I think scientists have still a lot left to explain, for a start: Why are those craters aligned counter-clockwise on the Southern hemi-pizza? (you know, the outer hemi-pizza.)

meteors make the crater that they "hit". There's a 100% chance of a meteor that makes a crater to be near that crater. Problem solved. Gimme several prizes now.

Sorry, but that's totally unrealistic! A relatively small rock displacing hundreds of metric tons of earth.
Although, maybe if it was like, super positively magnetic it could repel a lot of slightly negative earth, right?

Canada just legalized marijuana
An interesting footnote...

Canadians Who’ve Used Pot Can Be Forever Barred From Entering the United States

If this had happened two years ago or if it was delayed for two more years, this wouldn't be a real issue. But with the current administration, who knows?

YouTube to require users to rewind videos after watching

San Bruno, CA (dpo) - YouTube is asking its users to be a bit more considerate.
The video portal announced that, in future, users who do not rewind videos after watching them will be penalised by being temporarily blocked from the site.
These users thus risk not being able to watch any more videos for several days.
