I use AdBlock at work, and Zero-Hosts at home.

TLM: Yes, you can block video ads in the hosts file, I have done that quite a bit.

...but we are doom, because now "blockers" are too popular, more and more website need and want a reply (sometimes a secret reply, crypto, hash) of the advertissing website for access to the content that you want, or use a special java script to detect what blocker do you use, or other method...

The only actual solution is to have two browsers, for example one FF with adblock and one IE without anything if you really want your access to a blocked content, to modify host will block what you want and to disable adblock doesn't work every time without a browser restart... to use proxy, dns, vpn, will still polute your eye and your brain, and take your time and your private data...

Add to that, NSA excessive spying, USA net neutrality slayer, google or facebook or other hegemony, social network tracking for read a simple comment... They love too much money and power, they fall and still want their bloody legacy, they take your data and ask you to pay, they go too far, even american citizens are in a modern slavery...

Also, Adblock don't give all the job, you have to add and use Ghostery or Disconnect ! Your childrens or you as an old guy will have not purchasing power, every product price will be precisely calculate with collected data of trackers (more than they actually do)... and it is just one example, we start only to feel effects and the sum of the consequences is distressing !

I just simply don't know what to do.... Where is he going to stay? What will happen from now on?!?
It's just so all of a sudden..

Hi joedf,

I think that everyone in such a situation will need all of his friends. Even if you cannot really help, you can show that you feel with and stand by him. You should try it.

(I'm sorry for my poor English, I hope that I don't hurt you!)

Wow. I'm sorry to hear this joedf,

All you can really do is make sure they know you're there for them and if they need a ear to hear or a shoulder to cry on you're there. I couldn't imagine what they are going through during this tragedy.

If there's anything I can do from this far away, don't hesitate to send suggestions my way.

Thank you. I tried to contact him yesterday, he seems to be "coming back" to his senses. Well, I'll see.

Normally I don't care much for soap operas but this one is proving to be quite interesting. When we last left our story, Poly claimed that it was not his idea to remove the AutoHotkey v1.1+ links from the AutoHotkey.com main page. Lex did not agree. There's rumor that the word "rubbish" was used! The story continues with Tank's verbose interjection.
