It's a shame that IronAHK was not finished, because the idea was great. Maybe it was a little ahead of it's time, but it looks like perhaps it's something that should be done.

It's increasingly looking like Microsoft is going to get .NET to where it promised years ago. Usability and portability on multiple platforms.

2. .NET Core

Microsoft has been very consistent in pushing this framework towards Linux and the macOS, and it appears to be gaining ground and acceptance, as well as maturing.
