Mapping Alt + F4 To Joystick Button

20 Jun 2015, 23:16

Hello Everyone,

Windows 7 (64 Bit)
PS3 Controller
XBox 360 Controller Drivers

I am looking for a script that would allow me to assign the key combination "Alt + F4" (which appears to be a universal hotkey to close programs in Windows 7) to the PS3 Button (middle button between the two analog sticks).
At the moment when I hit this button, a little black dialog box pops up with a picture/icon of the XBox 360 controller middle button, when I hit this button again it closes the dialog, which is due to the fact as mentioned above that I am using the XBox 360 controller driver.

This question I guess has two parts....

1.) Is it possible to map anything to the PS3 Middle Button, removing that dialog box from even showing up?

2.) Does anyone have a simple script or method they can share to map this key combination (Alt + F4) to this button?
All the other buttons would probably be in use, this button is really the only one I would have free.

I have done some research and I have seen many similar requests but I haven't really been able to find a solid answer/method to do so.
If anyone has any advice it would be appreciated.
Thank You for reading this post.
