Hi There!
I'm trying to revert the Dark Souls 2 controls back to DS1 style where you hold the left mouse button to trigger a heavy attack. I wanted to know if this was possible.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Holding a Key Topic is solved
If you are trying to make it so that a long hold of a button does something different to a short press, unless you can trigger the heavy attack while the lighter attack is in progress, then yes it would be possible, but all light attacks would have to be delayed until you *release* LMB.
ie if you want light attack on click, but heavy attack if you hold for 0.5 seconds, then the instant that LMB goes down, it has no way of knowing your intentions until you either release LMB, or 0.5 seconds elapse.
So it probably is not going to be workable - this kind of stuff generally has to be supported by the game (ie it can change animation mid-way through) if you need it to be responsive.
If DS2 allows you to change to a heavy attack after you have already started the light attack animation, then it would be possible to get a flawless implementation.
