Hi everyone
when i spray, i just keep holding mouse1 until i'm out of bullets. which caused me a big problem cuz i'm a noob and cant control my recoil all the way. and at the same time i can't stop holding mouse1.
so here is my request : i need a script that makes me stop shooting after 1.5 seconds of holding mouse1.
so, when i see someone, i press left click to shoot .. after 1.5 seconds the script will force me to stop shooting even if i'm still holding mouse1 .. so if i release my hand from mouse1 and clicked again it start shooting again for 1.5 seconds and so on.
is this possible ?
thanks
a script that makes me stop shooting

Re: a script that makes me stop shooting
It's a link to the AHK documentation for the click command.
Anyhow, here's your solution - albeit very basic :
Possible additions:
- add #IfWinActive ahk_exe gamename.exe so the script only runs ingame
- add a toggle hotkey to enable and disable the script
Enjoy

Code: Select all
LButton::
Sleep, 1500
Send {LButton Up}
Return

that's literally disabled the left click all together.Guest wrote:It's a link to the AHK documentation for the click command.

now when i press left click it does nothing at all.
Re: a script that makes me stop shooting
Code: Select all
LButton::
Time := A_TickCount
while GetKeyState("LButton","P") && (A_TickCount-Time < 1500)
Click
KeyWait, LButton
return
Re: a script that makes me stop shooting
First of all , thanks for ur time
unfortunately, when i hold click , it fells like the script is sending " click , click , click ..." for 1.5 seconds... it's like tapping left mouse for 1.5 seconds .. which ofcourse is not what i needed .. i want it to "hold" mouse1 for as long as i'm holding it or for 1.5 seconds . whatever comes first.

Oops.. Forgot to add the passthrough ~ which indeed disabled the LMB altogether.
Maybe have a look at the documentation:
https://autohotkey.com/docs/Hotkeys.htm
It's handy to understand what the possibilities are.
Furthermore a search will provide you with many already existing scripts.
And there's also a sub-forum where you can ask help for gaming scripts:
https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewforum.php?f=18
Or have a look at the showcase for gaming scripts:
