Been doing some research and didn't find an answer the following question.
I use a batch file to launch both Deus Ex: The Fall & AHK.exe file. I scripted AHK to then launch a FOV application which collapses the game to Desktop and brings the focus to FOV changer
I have already scripted AHK to enter a value of "100" FOV and can use "tab" to navigate to the small box that needs a "tick"
to enable the new FOV value. I have tried "enter" "y" and some other keys, but even though the the box HAS the focus, I
don't know how to place a "check" inside of it.
What key or script will place a "tick" into this box?
Place "tick" in check-box via AHK Topic is solved
Place "tick" in check-box via AHK
I have a bit of experience opening and sending commands to game console and CMD.exe... just ask
Re: Place "tick" in check-box via AHK Topic is solved
There are other methods also, but you are looking for a key to send:
Try a sending a blank (" ", or %A_Space%). Test with hitting the spacebar.
A possible alternative is the GuiControl command.

Dude..... excellent
I have now written a script to fill out all details of the FOV changer. This solution now has me looking into groupactivate as a way to shift focus
back to game window.
Many thanks
