Is it possible to move comments between posts on the newer phpBB version? I think it'd be best to take the last 3 pages or so and move them over there

just tried it, the post are in chronological order, so my posts is put as the last one, but it is the "header post" ... so scratch that :/

You could split it anyways and take charge over the contents of my original post. IIRC mods can edit other people's posts, and I won't change it any if you choose do that

No offense meant but how is the move progressing, the adult spam on AutoHotkey . com is clearly out of control - hopefully the move to phpbb3 will resolve it.

Xenforo is much better than phpBB3.

There had better be some impressively compelling features to justify another forum conversion and an extra $140/year. I'm pretty happy with phpBB as it is now.

In light of events, has anyone else than polyethene full access to the autohotkey.com server?

I have full access but its on a shit vps using nginix instead of apache
I am evaluating some vps replacements
1and1.com and https://cloud.digitalocean.com/

While i havent set up lexikos and Joedf with access to the 1and1.com server yet it seems to have a robust built in email server and control panel.

Either way, I'm just happy we're taking matters into our own hands. :)

If the merge happens (in the next 10 years ^^) would it looks like this?
Own section + readonly?!

Forum migrations are always sticky business, it might be better to archive one (or both) of the forums depending on what software we go with. If someone wants to "migrate" their post they can make a new one on the new forum software.
