[SOLVED] No access to AHK ARCHIVED FORUMS

03 Feb 2016, 06:27

Hi,

I'm pretty much a noob with AHK but learned to love it after using it to keep windows always on top. Right now I try to create a command to minimize my Firefox window with a certain key combination. I found some probably useful results, but they all link to the "AHK ARCHIVED FORUMS", e.g. https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/1022 ... ow-script/.

When I try to access that page, all it gives me is the follow error:
2016-02-03 12_16_56-Error - AutoHotkey Community.png
Using the "Sign In" or "Register" options does not work. Using the account for this forum here also does not work.

Should I just create a new topic in this forum here and hope for some help? Or is there a way access that archive?

Thanks for your attention!

The forums are Archived! Meaning no more registering, replies or new topics. It is only meant to be viewed.
I can access the link you provided without logging in. :?
What is the exact URL you have in your address bar when you have this error page?

Hi joedf,

thanks for replying!

Sure, I understand that it's supposed to be read-only. But apparently, I don't have permission for that. The URL is exactly as posted below:

https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/1022 ... ow-script/

The actual screenshot I uploaded was bigger than what can be viewed in my post. Here is an externally uploaded version so you can read the URL: http://postimg.org/image/ilmytvxet/

Anything else I can post that might help identify the issue?

By the way, I get this for every link that leads into the archive and with Chrome as well as Firefox.

Best regards,
ichbinder

Thanks jNizM for testing!

Also German location here, Chrome Version 48.0.2564.97 m, Firefox 40.0.3 (just updated to newest and will try again with that).

I'm behind a company network, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Edit: Also does not work with Firefox 43.0.1.

Yeah, thank you for the support!

If the archived threads can't help me do what I want to do, I'll be back with some more noob questions. :)
