Can we have sub forums for AHK authors?

05 Apr 2017, 14:37

Can we have sub forums for AHK authors? It will be easier for the author to maintain their threads, easier for visitors to find the best scripts. It can serve as recognition and prize from the community to the authors.

We can vote who deserves this. I'll vote just me    .

For just me (I really like just me's classes) we can have:Scripts and Functions\Authors\just me.

No?
This clutters the Homepage and will only make it harder for new better solutions to overtake older scripts.

Currently each user has a profile page with almost no content.

There could be an extended space there, where users could post links to their best scripts etc.

Users, major users especially, should be given a space to post links to their best content and encouraged to use it.

Currently, you can search a user's posts, but that is somewhat unwieldy.

[EDIT:] For example, anyone with over 300 posts should probably have a greatest hits page somewhere.

No action will be taken on this.... at least not till AHK is the next python lol.. We do have significant enough literature or public exposure to implicate such things. Also, It is kind of weird to have a book section on a coding forum... :/

whoops, i misread. I love the works out there too... we had something similar before: ask fellows..
I dont know if we should still have that... yes no maybe? Im just skeptical of letting this slowly become favoritism :b

It's not only the post count what really counts. ;)
