Hello,
As most of you already know, AutoHotkey community has multiple platforms to discuss things and socialize together.
We have Forum, Webinar, IRC, etc. Today I want to bring up the IRC platform.
Currently, there are two channels there, #ahk and #ahkscript.
Originally there's only 1 channel, the #ahk, but when the community got split into 2 parts, the IRC channel got split too.

Now the AHK community has reunited and from my point of view, there's no point to keep 2 IRC channels anymore.
So my proposal here is to close/redirect one of these channels and just use one.
But if I remembered correctly, #ahk channel was registered using Polyethene's email address, but I'm not sure.

If the result is a Yes, we will plan to phase-out (close/redirect) the other channel (#ahk / #ahkscript / #autohotkey / etc) after a period of time.
If the result is a No, there will be no change on the IRC channels, we will keep those channels alive.

just to clarify:
#ahk was split into #ahkscript, "just in case". during all the Polyethene drama and when we made ahkscript.org. he owned (created) #ahk and he could have closed it/deleted it without any warning. He has not been on IRC in forever so his ownership has now expired (it did a couple years ago, probably). So now we are left with 2 active ahk channels, mostly the same users.

So you're saying the merge should be not an issue at all? That's good.

EDIT: just started trying out the AHK Discord... very nice!
