As many who have been around a while know; in late 2012 our file share autohotkey.net was hacked and we lost nearly everything. You either got to this post by clicking one of those links or browsing our forums. Most are unimpacted. For some looking for some legacy scripts referred to on our archived forum these losses are a grievous. While our servers are all backed up now and much more secure, the losses cannot be recovered

hello there,

i have been using the color change detector by murgee.com now for a few months, and it works ok , just not quite exactly how i need it to.

I am monitoring a part of one of my screens on my computer (windows).
I need to detect when that region has any change in it, ie when it moves from black to grey.

I was able to find a post that does that but the code was hacked/deleted according to the message I saw.

Any chance you could find the user? Polyethylene? i got undeliverable message back

or if you have any idea on how to make it work thanks

you can post whatever code you are using in ask for help with a description and see if you have any luck. That user is no longer part of this community

AutoHotkey.net domain is for sale??

Ok here is the situation according to this wikipedia article what the domain name holder of autohotkey.net is doing is called CyberSquatting

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybersquatting

Now all you have to do is provide the domain name registrar as well as the registrant with a cease and desist letter, citing your LLC Formation date and the registration date of AutoHotkey.com

if they do not cease and desist with the selling of the trademarked name AutoHotkey (which is automatically trademarked as it was the first name used in commerce by the llc) then the domain registrar will be forced to release it providing that the domain owner (registrant) cannot provide a LLC formation letter, or prove that they are in fact using the same name in commerce .

its pretty interesting reading actually and I have had this happen to me, unknowingly registering a series of domain names when the .info tld came out. I got all sorts of letters from lawyers, i tried to fight it however the registrar (godaddy) siezed the domain names and refunded me the registration fees as it was only a few days after I registered them that they got the same letters.

Get AutoHotkey.net back!

Hi guys,

it's a pity to hear such news.

Have you thought about using some exist package manager? NPM, Composer, etc...
It might be useful for sharing for user packages. A vendor will take care about package versions, code repository (usually it's GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
Any thughts?

These package managers follow the reuirements specifically for their language.
We need a package manager that follows the requirements for our language.
