I have recently been made aware of a troubling email. It is a variation of the
Nigerian scam offering money if you send bank account information..
This is a scam
There is no situation where anyone from our organization will reach out to you for any of the following.
- Money
- Password
- Bank info
- Personally identifying data( Real name, address etc)
Furthermore, anyone receiving such an email should report it to the FBI cyber crimes division
