We are changing current theme to that theme? Or we will keep the current theme?

Any particular reason you went with 1152 for the width?

ah. I see. Are there other themes to pick from, or did you "customize" this one so-to-speak?

autohotkey.com has very nice tutorial section. Is it possible to convert tutorials section to phpbb and add it to our forum when we migrate to autohotkey.com?

when making this forum we manually went through a lot of them and posted them here, converting as needed. But we could only go so far back in time before getting tired of doing it.

Edit, looking it over, I lied. I wonder what I'm remembering then.
Maybe it was a cleanup on the other forum? we maybe removed color tags and stuff inside helpful/popular topics? Not sure. But I remember doing a lot of stuff in there for a couple days.

Guessing it's too late for this but...
http://www.mybb.com/

Looks like a a combo of phpbb and invision.
moderation tools of IV, UI of phpbb.
And looks pretty customizable too, if need.

It's what the chinese AHK forum uses: http://ahk8.com/index.php

I am personally not against other forum engines (that are close to phpbb idea, IP boards, etc.) but I want to keep current forum theme, ability to add to the posts the image with unlimited size and notification.

I'm more interested in admin/mod tools. phpbb suuuuuucks. ipb is awesome. mybb looks like phpbb but with inline moderation tools that ipb has.

But.. the majority of people don't need such tools so it doesn't matter to them. I barely do any moderating here because a simple 2-click thing on ipb takes around 11 clicks (and several page loads) to do on phpbb. Maybe the new phpbb fixes that a bit? no idea.

edit: post 333! I'm half evil.

Just make sure that whatever we end up doesn't require WYSIWYG post editing. Give me markup or markdown any day of the week

I think it is possible to convert phpBB to MyBB. Here are the links:

As I see MyBB also can convert both IP boards and phpBB. So maybe we can merge two forums?

Also MyBB supports large image sizes with: http://community.mybb.com/thread-156993.html

I played with MyBB and it has many useful features (WYSIWYG and also BBcode support, marking questions as solved, making pols and etc.

The only thing is forum theme. It will be nice if we modify it to look more than current forum theme.

I think MyBB is really good choice.

I use MyBB on my site and it works good enough. I had some spam issues early on that I've somehow worked around. I forget exactly how.

Pretty much most forum software is gonna be the same. If you guys already have a choice that is customized, I would suggest just sticking with it since it will take the lease amount of time/work
