Rufus to create bootable USB drives

has anyone on this forum used this tool to create boot-able USB drives? does it really work? any issues if this is used instead of a boot-able CD? :geek:

I tried a bunch of different programs, and Rufus was my favorite. The USB drive will boot fine if your motherboard supports it. Of course you will have to configure your Bios to boot from USB.

i am now burning a bootable CD for XP using freeware hirens from http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ has anyone tried this one, too?

the file is huge ~ 600 MB
