For Mac OS X you are better off for the most part developing stuff in JXA for JXA.
Even if you did insist on rebuilding AHK from the ground up for Mac OS X you would have to run everything through OSAScript anyway... So it seems a bit pointless when Javascript/JXA and Autohotkey_L are so similar to each other...

So far, I'd say autokey-p3 is a good all-round solutions

Actiona (formerly Actionaz) is a task automation tool which can be used under Windows and Linux. It allows you to create and execute action lists. You don't need to know any programming language to use it: its intuitive interface allows you to create action lists (scripts) using drag & drop.
Features include emulate clicks, key presses, read the content of a file, play a sound, download a file or a Web page, etc. It has 48 different actions. You can even program some custom behaviour using Javascript.
