Pharo is a new take on Smalltalk and comes with a development environment that makes programming easy.
Here is all of the syntax of Pharo (just as an overview) on two pages:

That is all there is to it, it's extremely simple. Everything is an object. I like to call it a prototype language, although they don't use this term. The code reads like a child's English, and it was designed this way. The IDE is bleeding edge, ahead of anything else I've ever seen. You owe it to yourself to download it and run the Pharo IDE, you will not believe the elegance of this software.
