I was unaware till just now. at any rate while the error message is obscure. it is nothing to fix. that link is to nothing
EDIT there are definitely records in the database for this topic. Guess there might be something to poke around for

Hi, I was about to post about this same issue:

autohotkey.com | 520: Web server is returning an unknown error
https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1672

Which was:
MS Office COM Interface Constants - AutoHotkey Community
https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1672

Basically TLM had done 2 lists, of Excel + Word constants (3 posts).

I'd collected 2 'ready for script, copy and paste' versions (1 post).

Perhaps the large amount of text and the presence of some urls, made the website suspicious, or maybe something random went wrong, at the preview and/or post stage.

[EDIT:] Possibly also, I linked to it in another topic thread, and there might have been a very mini-traffic surge.

Links to the 4 posts aren't working:
https://autohotkey.com/boards/posting.php?mode=quote&f=22&p=10006
https://autohotkey.com/boards/posting.php?mode=quote&f=22&p=10007
https://autohotkey.com/boards/posting.php?mode=quote&f=22&p=10016
https://autohotkey.com/boards/posting.php?mode=quote&f=22&p=145867

In the worst-case scenario I should be able to recreate my post, and I have a copy of TLM's posts in a saved htm.

Re: Can't Access Thread

I recently backed up all my forum posts. I even got hold of my post on the MS Office constants thread that has the error when you try to access it.

did work:
https://autohotkey.com/boards/posting.php?mode=edit&f=22&p=145867

didn't work:
https://autohotkey.com/boards/posting.php?mode=quote&f=22&p=145867

So assuming that TLM can retrieve his 3 posts (although otherwise I do have a saved htm copy of them), then at least we can retrieve the content, if that helps.

Btw this content is similar, but slightly different:

MS Office COM Interface Constants - Scripts and Functions - AutoHotkey Community
https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/101062-ms-office-com-interface-constants/

Also of potential interest, for constant name to constant value:

OfficeInfo - MS Office COM constants - AutoHotkey Community
https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23164

I had thought that I could try editing the post, e.g. to make it almost empty, to see if that helps. But it might be interesting to allow more time to the admins to try and solve/investigate the problem as it is, so I won't do that just yet.

I am nearly about to give up and recreate the entire thread and set up redirects. the only thing stopping me is i really want to understand how it happened

Cheers. Do tell me before you ever reach that point, and I'll try editing my post before you change things in case it fixes things.

One possibility was that it was trying to do a preview and a submit both at the same time. Maybe that confused things, or it's still waiting for one of those actions to finish (another wild guess cf. earlier suggestions above by me).

OK, how about this: I'll edit my post on 1st July, (make it almost blank,) in case that fixes it.

That would give you around 20 more days to experiment, and if the thread is still inaccessible after I edit my post, you could then experiment more, or perhaps give up. Cheers.

@nnnik: Both of us have expressed a wish to try things before giving up. Plus, if my editing the post, does actually work, it will save some bother.

[EDIT:] Btw is there a limit for the size of a post/a thread page/a thread?

OK well in the first hours of July 2017 (UTC), I'll try setting my post's contents to just a hyphen. Unless anyone wants more time, or to make a suggestion.

Btw has anything else like this happened before? Cheers.

OK, I replaced my post with a hyphen, THE THREAD APPEARS TO BE WORKING AGAIN. I could put my original post back again, but I won't do that without confirming first. I think that perhaps one of TLM's posts has been replaced with an asterisk.
