Guests can now use bbcode

Please use it wisely.

I've also granted guests "limited access" (posting, starting new threads, etc.) to most of the forums. It appears that guests only had permissions to start threads in a few of the forums, and not the Gaming sub-forums.

I posted as guest to prove my point.

Forum Issues was one of the forums in which guests could not start new threads.

FYI, I haven't changed any permissions in the German or Chinese forums. If the moderators of those communities would like me to, I can.

I don't think Guest posting works at the moment - I'm pretty sure I type the captcha correctly but when I post I get the following message:

The username contains forbidden characters.
The field “Username” is too short, a minimum of 3 characters is required.

Guest posting is working.

Perhaps someone is working on the anti-spam scripts. I know they used to cause that issue.
