The villages of Rjukan, Norway, and Viganella, Italy, are both situated in deep valleys where mountains block the sun's rays for up to six months every year.

The AR Sun Project is a work which creates an augmented reality sun that replaces the real sun.
It can be viewed on smart phones. The AR sun will stay in alignment with the real one as it moves across the sky.
The goal of this project is to create a virtual sun which can go where the real sun cannot, such as heavily polluted cities where the sun can no longer be seen.
