Simulate touch screen event

14 Jan 2016, 08:53

Hi folks,

I now have a touch screen laptop and love some of the gestures available with that new interface.

I wonder if I could use an AHK script to reproduce 1 finger screen touch with a specific mouse event (like a specific button for instance) ? I would like to do that to scroll webpages with my mouse from anywhere on a page, like one a mobile, that would be awesome!

Thanks for your help!

Nudging this one up. I have a similar need. We're having an issue with our app where a week goes by and users can't use the touch screen properly (win 10) but a mouse click is fine - really odd. Hoping to replicate it by building an AHK script that will execute a bazillion use iterations until we repro...

I found this: https://sourceforge.net/projects/autohotkey-win/ but after looking at the code it's not truely reproing a "touch" event.
