Odd Behavior Creating Script

I had to reinstall Win 8.1 and lost the three AHK scripts I used before. When I right-clicked and selected Auto Hot Key Script, I got a Notepad icon instead of a green autohotkey icon. Renamed the shortcut to an AHK and created a script to print my email address.

Before, I clicked the appropriate script, it appeared with the start ups at bottom right. Whenever I wanted my email address typed, I would just tap the icon.

Now, if I click the script icon, the notepad page appears and it does not go to the lower right bar.

If I bring up Word blank page and click the icon on the desktop, the notepad page appears but the email address is not typed.

What went wrong and how do I fix it.??

Have you tried reinstalling AHK?
