Having issues. Trying to schedule windows to open my .ahk macro after being idle for more than 15m.
Task Scheduler will open it but won't run it as I'm getting "what would you like to open this program with?" window.
It automatically runs when I manually click to open the macro.
Tried to check the "always open with Autohotkey" box.
Can't find a solid solution to simply resetting the .ahk file extention association online. Windows 10.
Task Scheduler Won't Open .ahk Topic is solved
Re: Task Scheduler Won't Open .ahk
Try pointing Tasksheduler to run the actual autohotkey.exe file as the program, and then putting the path and file for the *.ahk script in as arguments for it.

Had the same issue. Your suggestion works. Thanks. No problems under W7 but W10 Creators seems to have issues with file associations.
