I am very new to using AHK, what I have found so far has been really neat. What I am trying to do is get an external keypad setup to be setup to be programmable. I learned how to reprogram the 0 key on the standard keypad, but I am trying to change the numeric keys on an external keypad. any help would be greatly appreciated!
I think this has something to do with the Numpad keys, but I am not sure how to use that function.
programming external keypad Topic is solved
Re: programming external keypad
AutoHotkey itself can't directly see where the key is coming from so you need to do a bit of extra work to get the external numpad keyboard to work properly without interfering with your regular keyboard's numpad. You need to use HID - see http://ahkscript.org/wiki/index.php?title=FAQ#Hardware
