Hi Folks,
Anyone know of a Windows installer built in AHK? I use the standard AHK compiler (Ahk2Exe.exe) to create EXE files that I use with the Nullsoft Scriptable Install System (NSIS). I often include third-party apps (also EXEs). For years I've been building installers (Setup.exe files) based on this sample NSIS script:
http://nsis.sourceforge.net/A_simple_in ... ninstaller
It displays a plain text license agreement (EULA), allows inclusion of multiple EXE files, creates a Program Group with one or more shortcuts to the program, builds a standard uninstaller, and supports the UAC dialog. It has served me well, but I dislike the NSIS scripting language and am looking to move to a different installer. I'm considering Inno Setup, because it offers Pascal as the scripting language, but I'd much rather have an installer written in AHK so that I can create the installers/uninstallers for my programs by coding in AHK.
Any ideas? Thanks much, Joe
