Issues with the ActiveWindow Info tool / spy

We use MSDOS (yes, that MS_DOS), for some test systems where I work.

We also use http://josh.com/tiny/software to give us remote access to those MSDOS systems.
Tiny is almost like Remote Desktop for MS-DOS.

When I use the ActiveWindowInfo /Spy tool on a Tiny window (which is/looks like an MSDOS console windows) on Windows 7,
The spy can only read the titlebar text.
This text is returned in tje Window Title ,Class, and Process section of the Active Window Info GUI

I'm trying to understand why the Spy can't read the text that is displayed in the Tiny window.
Any help is appreciated.
