Can som1 help with a script that launches a program once an HDMI is connected

So I was wondering if som1 could help me create an autohotkey script that launches a program
(steam) once I connect my laptop to my tv via HDMI. I wanted my laptop to automatically boot into steam once the HDMI is connected, to act as an htpc. Unfortunately, I am a newbie at autohotkey coding, and I would like some help creating this script. Thx for the help in advance.
