There are 4 keys above the numpad on my Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000: +, (, ), and <.
Can AutoHotKey access these keys for hotkeys?

Re: Extended NumPad keys on Microsoft Keyboard
See the documentation for KeyList.htm and scroll all the way down to bottom to the "Special Keys" section. Follow those instructions to get the code for each key and try making hotkeys with them.

In the main window for an AutoHotkey script, go to 'View, Key history and script info'. Try pressing the keys and see if it shows anything.

Re: Extended NumPad keys on Microsoft Keyboard
Hello there! It's a sort of necroposting but, well, it can save someone's time.
Here is a script for the MS Natural Keyboard model 7000 (but hopefully will work for the Natural Ergonomic 4000 as well) that'll
- map the zoom rocker to up/down arrows
- make the favorite keys work without the IntelliPoint
- make the calculator keys work without IntelliPoint
- show screen indicators for Caps/Scroll/Num Locks
