How to submit a completed form on a browser?

The form will have Javascript and other complications...
But, I assume it's all OK - just need to figure out the browser submitting function and just supply all fields needed for the form?

I've been meaning to read up on COM.
I assume the way to do is using AHK + COM + IE?

Are there any other alternatives?
I read up on a post that Edge browser doesnt support COM.
And that you can use Selenium?
Ideally... I want to use Chrome

Should I use IE + COM? Assuming it's tried and tested?
