Is it possible to remove the 1024 character per-line limit for a GUI Edit box?

Get help with using AutoHotkey (v1.1 and older) and its commands and hotkeys

A quick internet search found that there is no known fix for this "problem" for the standard Edit control. However, for Notepad which uses the Edit control, you can try this. Warning: Registry change. And no, I did not try this myself.

A far as workarounds are concerned, the word on the street is that the RichEdit control does not have this limit. And again no, I did not try this myself.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Thanks for info. Nice to know that it's a Windows limitation and not an Autohotkey limitation.
