replacement of the pause/break button with delete

Hello all,
I would like to replace the pasue / braek key with the delete key and vice versa. I would like to do this because the manufacturer of my laptop put the delete key in a strange place and I still have to search for it.
Some of the keys have already got stained but I can not deal with this. I read in several places that there is a problem with this key and I have already tried many versions of break :: pause :: etc. without effect.
Any ideas?
