Hi,
I am working on an ahk script that's using the following commands, #noenv, fileappend, filecreatedir, filedelete, fileexist, filemove, loop, msgbox, return, run, runwait, send, sendmode, setworkingdir, sleep, winactivate, and winexist. It's also using the clipboard variable. It's working perfectly in the foreground. I want to test it in a virtual environment. I would like to know from experienced community members how successfully the script will run in a virtual environment such as, vmware, virtual box, or hyper-v. I would also like to know, whether the script will run successfully when the virtual environment solution is minimized and whether it will interfere with the operations on the host os which will be windows 7+.
I appreciate the cooperation of forum members.
Running ahk script in a virtual environment
Re: Running ahk script in a virtual environment
Hi,
I run a VM under VirtualBox and use some of the AHK commands. I have seen not any problem sofar, so I think it's Ok to use the AHK functions.
Regards,
Walter.

Re: Running ahk script in a virtual environment
Virtual environments like virtual machine should be able to support ahk.
I run Oracle VM VirtualBox and it works like a miracle for me. Never had any issues with ahk.
