Compare two barcodes and then open file

I have a simple bar code scanner that inputs what is scanned as keyboard entry. I want to be bale to scan one barcode, then another. Compare the two, and if match, open a file by that name, if not matching, open a msgbox stating mismatch. The current system uses just one bar code scan to open the file, but now we need the two scans to match.

This should be pretty easy to do with a pair of InputBox commands, an if statement, and a Run command. Here are some documentation links:

Only hang up is in the run open command, how do i get it to use the variable as the file name?
