The latest download of AHK, after installation, right click in the taskbar, there is no way to display the recent history in the taskbar, there is no way to lock in the taskbar.
But the previous version of ahk can be done.

It sounds like you have selected the "Separate taskbar buttons" option in the installer. Simply run AutoHotkey setup (in Start menu, or Installer.ahk) or reinstall AutoHotkey, and turn off that option.
