AHK to EXE Icon distortion

Hi,

I made an icon with transparent background and after I converted an .AHK to .EXE there are distortions to the icon. Does anyone know why this is? Is it because of the size? It's a 128x128 .ico file - See the the screenshot here:

I think this was because;

A) Font smoothing
B) Transparency was set on white. With font smoothing there can be several colors around the edges. As to why it only showed up after converting to an EXE, I am guessing size. When I zoomed in on my desktop (changing icon sizes) the EXE icon was smaller than the ICO file. Changing it to black font helped in the mean time. I may experiment with different size of transparent icons to see if it fixes the issue.
