Summary: Ensure autohotkey.exe 'Run as administrator' is checked.
I had a rough time getting BlockInput to work in Win10. From other posts, I figured out that Windows kept setting my AHK scripts to guest level even though my account is set to administrator and UAC was off. I looked for a permanent way to run as admin through the registry, task manager, etc. Nothing worked. I finally found a post that said to make sure that the autohotkey.exe in the Program Files folder had the setting under Compatibility tab 'Run this program as an administrator' checked. Embarrassingly basic and easily missed. Even though the original post is over a year old, I thought I'd pass it along in case someone else might have missed this.
