Using simple MIDI input to output a keystroke

I have a MIDI input that goes from -127 to 127 on Channel 1, CC4. I would like it so that if the value is between a certain range it presses down a key. Easy to do with a normal input but having trouble doing it with MIDI.

I tried using the AHK_Generic-Midi-Program but it is rather complex, and on the GUI it only measured between 0 and 127. Any advice? Thanks.
